Our Staff
Upon application to our agency girls are given a welcome pack outlining our expectations, which we will send out to you on request. You can make any suggestion or requests to suit your needs. Our member’s staff is not expected to wear uniform but they are expected to look smart. We have the opinion that you would prefer them to blend in with your staff and feel part of your team, we are very discrete and wouldn't want to advertise our agency within your work place and business.
All staff is required to have a clear CRB form, 2 childcare references and full CV verification. If there are any mitigating circumstances this will be discussed with you before placement is made.
Our Service and All inclusive prices – No hidden costs
Nursery Nurse £9 -£11 per hr
Nursery Assistant £8.50 – £9.50 per hr
Nursery Teacher £10 - £14 per hr
A full payroll is done through the agency and this includes agency fee, and wages, plus Employers NI.
Due to us having loyal customers and long term commitment to all our nurseries we are going to introduce a long term discount to existing customers and any new customers will receive this once they have used us on a regular basis for six weeks. The discount is as follows:
If a booking is made in one week for over 16 hours the discount will be 2.5% off the invoice.
If this booking is made for over 35 hours the discount will be 5% off the invoice.
Long term nursery supply can be negotiated for a fix period of time. You must allow all our staff 30 minutes dinner if they are working full days 7 hours and over which you will not be charged for. If you are booking less than 7 hours 15 minutes should be given as a break but you will be charged for this.
If you have supply staff that works for 12 weeks or more you must comply with the Agency Workers Regulations which has been updated in 2010 and put into place by 1st October 2011.
For our customers this will means that you have to ensure that supply staff working 12 weeks or more is entitled to all the same terms as your permanent staff. This now includes holiday leave which we calculate and invoice but allow a 25% discount for you on this entitlement.
Permanent Staff
Full time - 30 hours plus has a placement fee of £450
Part time - Below 30 hours has a placement fee of £350
This is designed to give you a opportunity to advertise you position with us for nothing as we only charge when a placement is made. You will only receive one off invoice for the amount above and no invoicing is subject to further VAT.
If more that one placement it made with you, you will receive 10 to 20 % off you invoice. The discount would be confirmed with you before job offers are made. You will take over full employment of all permanent staff, which a payroll is then legally required.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS
1) Once you decide you would like to register all contact details and job descriptions must be received before work commences.
2) All employees are police checked and references are checked. For a permanent position the agency will send copies of references before the interview. You can check references, when the interview has taken place and the potential staff member gives verbal permission. Please note that the police checks may take weeks to come through and as a result of this may not be complete at the date of interview.
3) All introductions of employee’s are strictly confidential between Employee and Employer and the data complies with the Data Protection Act.
4) All employee’s working over eight hours a week on a permanent contract must have official terms and conditions. This is often met by a contract of employment, which can be supplied through the agency. The employers must also pay all tax and national insurance for the employee’s.
5) All job offers must be confirmed to both parties through the agency.
6) All fees are due on confirmation of the position been filled. This fee should reach the agency within ten days of receiving the invoice and if fees are not paid on due date, the agency reserves the right to issue a surcharge.
7) Should the placement fail within eight weeks, temporary cover could be found with temporary fees to be paid, until a new employee is placed free of charge. Alternative the agency will make appropriate refunds.
8) The agency is an introduction agency only and cannot except responsibility or liability for negligence, dishonesty, misconduct or lack of skill.
9) The agency takes no responsibility for care of employee for any loss or injury.
10) If Caroline Lee supplies temp cover to nurseries it is the responsibility of the nursery to provide insurance for liability of the Nursery Nurse/Assistant/Teacher.
11) If cancelling supply this must be done before 5pm on the previous evening of the date in which the supply has been booked otherwise it will be fully charged for.
